Investor Relations professional brings wide-ranging experience to the 45- year old global firm
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — November 8, 2004 — Charles Picasso, President and CEO of IHS Group ( www.ihsgroup.com ), announced today that Jane Okun has been selected for the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications for the global firm effective immediately. Okun joins IHS Group from Genesis, a Denver-based strategic marketing firm where she served as a partner. Prior to joining Genesis, Okun headed investor relations at VeloCom, Inc., MediaOne Group, and Northwest Airlines. She has also held multiple corporate finance positions at Northwest Airlines and American Airlines. Okun started her career with Price Waterhouse in Detroit.
Okun holds both a Bachelor of General Studies degree and an MBA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is the current president of the Denver Business Series and serves on the boards of the National Investor Relations Institute - Rocky Mountains and the University of Michigan Business School.
