Community Relations

At IHS we value Teamwork, Respect, Accountability, Integrity and Innovation.

IHS advocates improving the quality of life for our colleagues, their families and the community, and our colleagues are encouraged to engage in community activities.

We are committed to advancing education (especially science and math), environmental issues and economic development through volunteer efforts and team-driven community improvement initiatives.

Programs

Race Across Africa

IHS introduces the Race Across Africa Tour the Nile, a global community relations event encouraging participants to get fit and raise funds to bring clean drinking water to rural regions in Africa.

From June 1 through June 30, teams of 10 will race 6,695 kilometers (4,184miles) -- virtually-- from Cairo to Burundi. (More)

OpenWorld Learning

IHS sponsors OpenWorld Learning, a 501 (c) 3 independent nonprofit organization in Denver that supports elementary school students with an after-school program teaching basic technology, computer programming, critical thinking and communication skills.

OpenWorld Learning teaches students teamwork, leadership and the importance of innovation, all of which are important qualities to IHS colleagues and to the future success of students. (More)
